TO-GO Kinetic Rope: KR-N66-166 (16mm – 6 Tons – 6m)
Designed for Lightweight Vehicles, UTV, ATV & Buggies
The TO-GO KR-N66-166 kinetic rope is engineered specifically for light-duty recovery, making it the ideal choice for UTV, ATV, dune buggies, and ultra-light vehicles. Its controlled stretch and 6-ton breaking strength deliver smooth, safe recovery performance without the violent shock loads of traditional tow straps.
Important Note:
This 16mm rope is not suitable for full-size 4x4 vehicles, SUVs, or pickup trucks. For heavier vehicles, please use TO-GO kinetic ropes in 22mm or 28mm.

Understanding Working Load Limit (WLL)
Breaking strength represents the maximum force before failure. Safe use relies on the Working Load Limit (WLL), calculated as:
WLL = Breaking Strength ÷ Safety Factor
- Safety Factor 3:1 → WLL is approx. one-third of breaking strength
- Safety Factor 4:1 → WLL is approx. one-quarter of breaking strength
How Kinetic Recovery Works
Kinetic ropes stretch under load, store energy, and release it gradually, providing smooth recovery without harsh jolts. This protects both vehicles and improves traction during extraction.
Safety Warnings
- For lightweight vehicles and UTV/ATV only
- Not suitable for heavy or full-size 4x4 vehicles
- Inspect rope before every use
- Do not exceed the 6-ton breaking strength
- Use only proper recovery points
- Keep all bystanders clear of the recovery line
- Soft shackles are highly recommended
Additional Tips
- Wear gloves while handling the rope
- Rinse after use in sand or mud
- Allow the rope to dry completely before storage
- Store in a shaded, dry place
- Replace the rope if signs of wear appear
